Excellent eaten fresh, it is particularly good grilled or roasted, when the flesh becomes beautifully soft and sweet. Use in antipasto, salads, sauces, relishes, stuffed dishes or simply char whole and dress with olive oil and herbs.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePlants are vigorous and productive through the warmer months and perform best in full sun with fertile, well-drained soil and consistent moisture.
