The blooms contain a distinctive blue essential oil, prized in herbal medicine and natural skincare preparations.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOften referred to as the \"plant's physician\", chamomile has long been valued by gardeners for its beneficial relationship with neighbouring plants.
