One of the most substantial microgreens to grow, they produce sturdy white-green stems topped with broad green leaves and are delicious eaten straight from the tray.

The crunchy young shoots are excellent in salads, sandwiches and wraps, blended into smoothies or used as a fresh garnish. Their substantial texture makes them particularly satisfying compared with finer microgreens, while their mild flavour pairs easily with both sweet and savoury foods.

Fast growing and highly productive, sunflower microgreens are easy to grow in trays or containers.
