The soft blooms mature into distinctive spherical, papery seed heads with a beautifully geometric, honeycomb-like appearance.

Growing to approximately 70 cm tall, Starflower is a favourite with florists and flower growers. The long stems are excellent for cutting, while the decorative seed heads can be harvested and dried for everlasting arrangements, wreaths and other floral work. Flowers left in the garden are also attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects.

Easy to grow and best in full sun, plants prefer well-drained soil and regular moisture while establishing.
