This variety produces highly scented red flowers with distinctive white striping, carried on long stems that make an excellent addition to cut flower arrangements.

A vigorous climber reaching approximately 2 m tall, Old Spice is more heat tolerant than many modern Sweetpea varieties, helping to extend its flowering season as conditions begin to warm. It is ideal for growing over trellises, fences and arches or amongst other plants in cottage and cutting gardens.

Sweetpeas perform best in full sun with rich, fertile, well-drained soil and regular moisture.
