Eden Seeds continues to make available by mail order the widest range of old traditional open pollinated seed.
This reflects not only our interest in making available a wide range of traditional varieties but the growing awareness of many gardeners and cottage industry growers of the need to contribute something toward the preservation of our food heritage and the desire to learn the skills needed for seed production and storage.

At present we are proud to offer over 550 vegetable varieties plus herbs, flowers, trees, seeds for sprouting, green manures and grains and additionally 270 varieties of organically grown seed.
We have added new varieties and expect more as the autumn harvesting gets into full swing. Check our website for the full range.

Eden Seeds has separated the organic seed into a separate list in the back of the Eden Seeds catalogue,  titled Select Organic with both Eden and Select varieties available together on our website. This has opened up new possibilities with many new growers contributing, to the seed available in our catalogue and new varieties.
The next extension of Certified Organic seed is a new display in colour packets for retail sales. Already acceptance has exceeded our expectation with over 70 retail outlets displaying our new look seed display rack.

We now have a list of bulk seeds available for commercial growers in addition to those items already listed in our annual catalogue. The list includes a wide range of certified organic seeds.
The next annual catalogue will contain an addition of nearly 100 flowers thanks largely to the help of Rowena Petrie and Jack Bodger. My oldest Yates Catalogue is 1942 and Eden Seeds has an amazing number of vegetable and flower varieties which were listed at that time.
Should you wish to subscribe to our next Spring Catalogue a $14 subscription includes four packets of heritage vegetable varieties. Many thanks for your support over the past eighteen years.

Autumn planting is now upon us and the lists in this newsletter will be a quick reminder of things you may wish to plant at this time.
Take advantage of our “Autumn Special”, “Free offer” and
Books “Book List - Specials”

Best wishes for the coming growing season.
