A cool-season annual prized for its rich fragrance and stately flower spikes. Matthiola incana ‘Giant Imperial Mixed’ produces fully double and single blooms in a romantic palette of soft pastels and deeper hues, rose, lavender, carmine, cream, and white. Reaches 45–75cm tall, making it ideal for garden borders and cutting gardens alike. Best grown in full sun and well-drained soil. Flowers from late winter through spring. Sow direct or transplant young, root systems are delicate and dislike disturbance.
