A refined cool-season annual or short-lived perennial producing large, crepe-textured blooms held aloft on slender, leafless stems to 60cm. The Artist's Glory strain (also known as Victory Giants) is celebrated for its vivid colour range - brilliant oranges, buttery yellows, coral, white, and soft pinks, favoured by both pollinators and floral designers. Best sown in autumn or late winter; prefers full sun and free-draining soils. Flowers from mid-winter into spring. Excellent as a cut flower. Handle young seedlings with care as poppies dislike root disturbance.
