One tablespoon makes approximately 1 1/2 cups of sprouts. Sprouting time 4-7 days. Jar, saucer or sprouter can be used. When using jar cover mouth of jar with porous material secured with a rubber band. Soak overnight then rinse and drain, continuing this cycle 2 to 3 times per day until harvest. To minimize spoilage remove hulls by skimming off the top with a spoon. Sprout length 2-5cm. Sprouts can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
