Old standard variety, vigorous climber, Known as Seven Year Bean as it re-sprouts from its roots. Attractive scarlet flowers. Black and purple seeds used to make bean jewelery. Originally from south American highlands and best suited to cooler climates, large, quality pods. Despite conflicting reports the roots are poisonous. 65-90 days.
