Edible Chrysanthemum Seeds

Also called Shungiku or Chop Suey Greens, this hardy annual grows to around 1 m and is valued throughout East Asia for its aromatic young leaves, used raw or lightly cooked to give a distinctive flavour. Harvest at 100–200 mm for the best tenderness. The daisy-like petals can be added to salads or brewed as a refreshing tea.

Plants prefer well-drained soil and steady moisture.
Sow in spring, summer, or autumn.
Approx. 320 seeds per gram.
