Lady's Mantle is a graceful hardy perennial treasured for its soft, velvety, fan-shaped leaves that catch and hold sparkling droplets of dew. In late spring and summer it produces airy sprays of tiny lime-green flowers, making it a favourite for cottage gardens, woodland borders and floral arrangements. Growing to around 30–45 cm tall, it thrives in cool, moist conditions and adds an elegant texture to the garden.
For centuries, Lady's Mantle has been valued in traditional European herbal medicine, particularly in relation to women's health. It has traditionally been used to support menstrual comfort, healthy digestion and general wellbeing. The young leaves may also be used in herbal teas, while the attractive foliage makes an excellent groundcover in partly shaded gardens.

Planting / Sowing
Lady's Mantle is slow to germinate and benefits from a period of cold stratification. Refrigerate seed for 2–4 weeks before sowing, then surface sow or cover very lightly with fine seed-raising mix. Keep evenly moist and maintain cool temperatures of around 15–20°C. Transplant seedlings into rich, moisture-retentive, well-drained soil in part shade or full sun in cooler climates, spacing plants 30–40 cm apart.
Due to quarantine restrictions, TAS has an 800g limit per each seed variety and WA has a 10,000 seeds limit per variety.
