Lobularia maritima

Magic Circle is a delightful Sweet Alyssum mix producing masses of fragrant, pastel-coloured flowers in soft pink, lilac and white. Low growing and spreading, the plants form a dense carpet of colour ideal for containers, rockeries, cottage gardens, pathways and edging around garden beds.

The small, nectar-rich flowers are highly attractive to bees and a range of beneficial insects, making Magic Circle as useful in the productive garden as it is ornamental. Plant around vegetable beds or between crops to provide a continuing food source for pollinators and beneficial insects.

Hardy and easy to grow from seed, Alyssum tolerates light frost but appreciates regular moisture and can struggle during prolonged hot, dry conditions. Regular trimming or deadheading encourages fresh growth and continued flowering.

Seed count: approximately 3,000 seeds/g
Approximately 1,200 seeds per packet

Transplant or thin to approximately 15–20 cm apart. Grow in full sun to partial shade and water regularly during dry periods.

Due to quarantine restrictions, TAS has an 800g limit per each seed variety and WA has a 10,000 seeds limit per variety.
