High in vitamin C. Use flowers and leaves in salad. Known as Indian Cress. Originally from Peru. Antiseptic. Repels borers and aphids. Companion to cucurbits, brassicas, beans, tomatoes, and potatoes, grown as groundcover. Bright colours held above foliage all summer, non trailing bush type to 40cm. Sunny position, sow spring to autumn.

Hardy annual, native of Andes, edible flowers, suited to borders, rockeries and hanging baskets, tolerates wide range of soils (not too fertile) and dry conditions, full sun or part shade, neutral pH, sow direct after frost.
