Unit price perLotus tetragonolobus L.
A traditional Mediterranean legume grown for its young, tender pods and attractive deep red flowers. Pods are best harvested while young, before they exceed 25 mm, to avoid toughness, and can be eaten fresh in salads, lightly stir fried, or added to soups and stews. The seeds can also be eaten like peas once mature. Plants are productive and adaptable, tolerating cooler conditions, and typically reach harvest in around 55 to 70 days.
Approximately 25 seeds per packet

Planting/sowing: Sow in early spring or late summer. Avoid hot weather. Space seeds 5–8cm apart.
