Phaseolus vulgaris

A vigorous and highly regarded bush bean producing smooth, green, stringless pods to around 10 cm. ‘Double Princess’ is valued for its excellent flavour and remains tender even when pods are slightly more mature. Plants are mosaic-free and crop reliably, reaching harvest in approximately 60 days. Young plants may appear to climb briefly, but settle into a bush habit as they mature. A highly recommended variety for home gardeners seeking dependable performance and quality pods.

Approximately 30 seeds per packet

When to Plant (Australia)
Tropics: March to August
Subtropics: September to March
Mild climates: October to March
Cold climates: November to February

Planting / Sowing
Sow seed directly into well drained soil in a warm, sunny position after the risk of frost has passed. Sow seed 3 to 5 cm deep and space plants 20 to 25 cm apart, with rows 45 to 60 cm apart. Regular harvesting encourages continued production. Avoid cold or waterlogged soils

Due to quarantine restrictions, TAS has an 800g limit per each seed variety and WA has a 10,000 seeds limit per variety.
