Celosia Coral Gardens Mix Seeds
$3.90
Unit price perCelosia argentea
Coral Gardens Mix is a vibrant celosia blend producing extraordinary crested flower heads in warm shades of peach, rose, pink, gold and yellow. The densely folded blooms resemble intricate coral fans, bringing unusual texture and strong colour to garden plantings.
Compact dwarf plants grow to approximately 30–40 cm tall, making them particularly well suited to borders, mass planting, bedding and pots. The striking flower heads also make excellent long-lasting cut flowers and retain their colour and form beautifully when dried.
Celosia thrives in warm conditions and is an easy, heat-tolerant annual once established. Grow in full sun for the strongest plants and best flowering, and remove spent blooms to encourage continued production.
Approximately 500 seeds per packet.
When to Plant (Australia)
Tropics: September–April
Subtropics: September–March
Mild climates: September–February
Cold climates: October–January, after frost risk has passed
Planting / Sowing
Sow approximately 2–3 mm deep, barely covering the seed, once the soil has warmed. Seed can also be started indoors approximately four to six weeks before the last expected frost and transplanted once conditions are reliably warm.
Space plants approximately 20–30 cm apart. Grow in full sun in fertile, well-drained soil and keep evenly moist during establishment, avoiding waterlogged conditions. Once established, plants tolerate heat well and flower through the warmer months.
Due to quarantine restrictions, TAS has an 800g limit per each seed variety and WA has a 10,000 seeds limit per variety.

FLOWER SEEDS WITH EDEN
Flower seeds: As fellow gardening enthusiasts we share the love for planting and nurturing our own flowers in addition to our veggie gardens. Our carefully selected range of flower seeds, available for convenient online purchase, holds a special place in our hearts. Like the endangered vegetables we've championed, these flower varieties face the risk of vanishing forever. Some of these older strains are incredibly rare, and it's a source of immense pride for us to offer and deliver these precious flower seeds Australia-wide.
