Colour Fountain Mixture is a tall, elegant annual producing striking spider-like flowers in a beautiful blend of rose, lavender, crimson and ivory. The distinctive blooms are lightly scented and held on long stems, creating height and movement through garden beds and borders.
Flowering from summer into early autumn, Cleome is a wonderful choice for cottage gardens, mixed borders and cutting gardens. The unusual flowers attract bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects, while the tall stems make an interesting addition to fresh flower arrangements.
Hardy and drought tolerant once established, Colour Fountain thrives in warm weather and performs best in full sun and well-drained soil.
Seed count: approximately 500 seeds/g
Approximately 300 seeds per packet
When to Plant (Australia)
Tropics: Spring to autumn
Subtropics: Spring to summer
Mild climates: Spring to early summer
Cold climates: Late spring after frost
Planting / Sowing
Sow directly or raise in trays once the soil has warmed. Cover seed lightly and keep consistently moist during germination.
Transplant or thin seedlings to approximately 30–45 cm apart in full sun. Plants can grow quite tall, so choose a position towards the back of garden beds and provide support in particularly exposed or windy locations.
Due to quarantine restrictions, TAS has an 800g limit per each seed variety and WA has a 10,000 seeds limit per variety.

FLOWER SEEDS WITH EDEN
Flower seeds: As fellow gardening enthusiasts we share the love for planting and nurturing our own flowers in addition to our veggie gardens. Our carefully selected range of flower seeds, available for convenient online purchase, holds a special place in our hearts. Like the endangered vegetables we've championed, these flower varieties face the risk of vanishing forever. Some of these older strains are incredibly rare, and it's a source of immense pride for us to offer and deliver these precious flower seeds Australia-wide.
