Cosmos Sea Shells Mixture Seeds
$3.90
Unit price perCosmos bipinnatus
Sea Shells Mixture is an unusual and eye-catching Cosmos with distinctive fluted petals that curl into tubular, shell-like shapes. Flowers appear in a beautiful mixture of white, pink, rose and crimson, with each bloom bringing slightly different colouring and form to the garden.
Tall, airy plants with finely divided foliage are ideal for cottage gardens, borders and cutting gardens. The open flower centres attract bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects, while the unusual blooms make particularly interesting additions to fresh flower arrangements.
Easy to grow and free flowering, Sea Shells thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. Regular picking or deadheading encourages continued flowering throughout the warmer months.
Approximately 40 seeds per packet
When to Plant (Australia)
Tropics: Spring to autumn
Subtropics: Spring to summer
Mild climates: Spring to summer
Cold climates: Late spring to summer after frost
Planting / Sowing
Sow directly where plants are to grow or raise in trays for transplanting. Cover seed lightly and keep moist during germination.
Thin or transplant seedlings to approximately 30–40 cm apart in full sun and well-drained soil. Avoid excessive fertiliser, which can encourage leafy growth at the expense of flowers.
Due to quarantine restrictions, TAS has an 800g limit per each seed variety and WA has a 10,000 seeds limit per variety.

FLOWER SEEDS WITH EDEN
Flower seeds: As fellow gardening enthusiasts we share the love for planting and nurturing our own flowers in addition to our veggie gardens. Our carefully selected range of flower seeds, available for convenient online purchase, holds a special place in our hearts. Like the endangered vegetables we've championed, these flower varieties face the risk of vanishing forever. Some of these older strains are incredibly rare, and it's a source of immense pride for us to offer and deliver these precious flower seeds Australia-wide.
