Tidy Tips is a cheerful annual wildflower producing bright golden-yellow, daisy-like flowers characteristically tipped in crisp white. Native to California, where it grows naturally through dry coastal habitats, meadows and grasslands, the distinctive two-toned blooms create a wonderfully fresh display through spring.
A member of the Asteraceae family, Tidy Tips is excellent for wildflower gardens, cottage plantings, borders and mass sowing. The open flowers are attractive to bees and other pollinating insects and combine beautifully with other annual wildflowers for a naturalistic meadow effect.
Easy to grow and well adapted to relatively dry conditions, plants prefer full sun and free-draining soil. Avoid overly rich soil or excessive fertiliser, which can encourage leafy growth at the expense of flowers.
Seed count: approximately 1,100 seeds/g
Approximately 120 seeds per packet
When to Plant (Australia)
Tropics: Autumn to winter in cooler locations
Subtropics: Autumn to winter
Mild climates: Autumn to spring
Cold climates: Spring after frost
Planting / Sowing
Sow directly where plants are to flower, scattering seed thinly over prepared soil and covering only lightly. Keep moist during germination and establishment.
Thin seedlings to approximately 15–20 cm apart in full sun and well-drained soil. For a natural wildflower display, seed can be scattered more informally and plants allowed to self-seed at the end of the season.
Due to quarantine restrictions, TAS has an 800g limit per each seed variety and WA has a 10,000 seeds limit per variety.

FLOWER SEEDS WITH EDEN
Flower seeds: As fellow gardening enthusiasts we share the love for planting and nurturing our own flowers in addition to our veggie gardens. Our carefully selected range of flower seeds, available for convenient online purchase, holds a special place in our hearts. Like the endangered vegetables we've championed, these flower varieties face the risk of vanishing forever. Some of these older strains are incredibly rare, and it's a source of immense pride for us to offer and deliver these precious flower seeds Australia-wide.
