Tomato Golden Gourmet Filler Seeds
$3.90
Unit price perSolanum lycopersicum
Golden Gourmet Filler is an unusual stuffing tomato producing large, golden-yellow fruits approximately 8–10 cm across. The fruits develop thick, firm outer walls surrounding a relatively hollow centre, giving them a structure more reminiscent of a capsicum than a typical juicy tomato.
Designed for filling, the fruits can be hollowed out and stuffed with breadcrumbs, cottage cheese, grains, herbs, vegetables or other savoury fillings before baking. Their firm walls hold their shape well during cooking, while the golden skin makes an attractive alternative to traditional red stuffing tomatoes.
Plants are vigorous and indeterminate, continuing to flower and set fruit throughout the season. Provide sturdy staking or trellising to support the vines and developing fruits.
Seed count: approximately 250–400 seeds per gram. Approximately 40 seeds per packet.
