Wallflower Single Flowered Mix Seeds
$3.90
Unit price perErysimum cheiri
Single Flowered Mix is a classic Wallflower producing clusters of sweetly fragrant, four-petalled flowers in a rich mixture of warm, clear colours. Growing to approximately 45 cm tall, the upright plants bring abundant colour and perfume to the garden through the cooler months and into spring.
An old-fashioned cottage garden favourite, Wallflowers are excellent for borders, mass plantings, containers and planting near paths or entrances where their fragrance can be enjoyed. The nectar-rich flowers are also highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects.
Generally grown as a biennial or short-lived perennial, Wallflowers thrive in cool conditions and prefer full sun with fertile, well-drained soil. Regular deadheading helps extend the flowering period, while established plants are relatively hardy and tolerant of light frost.
Approximately 500 seeds per packet
When to Plant (Australia)
Tropics: Autumn to winter in cooler locations
Subtropics: Autumn to winter
Mild climates: Autumn to spring
Cold climates: Spring to summer
Planting / Sowing
Sow directly or raise in trays, covering seed lightly with soil or seed-raising mix. Keep consistently moist during germination and establishment.
Transplant or thin seedlings to approximately 20–30 cm apart in full sun and well-drained soil. Regularly remove spent flower stems to encourage a longer flowering display.
Due to quarantine restrictions, TAS has an 800g limit per each seed variety and WA has a 10,000 seeds limit per variety.

FLOWER SEEDS WITH EDEN
Flower seeds: As fellow gardening enthusiasts we share the love for planting and nurturing our own flowers in addition to our veggie gardens. Our carefully selected range of flower seeds, available for convenient online purchase, holds a special place in our hearts. Like the endangered vegetables we've championed, these flower varieties face the risk of vanishing forever. Some of these older strains are incredibly rare, and it's a source of immense pride for us to offer and deliver these precious flower seeds Australia-wide.
