Unit price perAmaranthus tricolor
One of the deepest red microgreens available, Amarosa produces rich garnet-red stems and leaves with far more intense colour than standard red amaranth varieties. Its mild, earthy flavour with a hint of sweetness makes it perfect for salads, sandwiches and gourmet garnishes. Ready to harvest in just 10 to 14 days, it grows easily year-round on a windowsill or under lights while adding vibrant colour and valuable nutrients to your meals.
As well as the usual harvested vegetables these vegetables are harvested as Baby Leaf Salad Greens at 8-15cm in 3-4 weeks or as Micro Greens at 3-8cm from 10-25 days depending on varieties being quick or slow growing. Best Grown in potting mix or soil mix in trays, boxes or in the garden. When planting cover with about 3cm of friable mix. Ensure good light and moisture levels. Best temperatures 16°C to 28°C. Harvest with scissors, cut whole plant or leaves only leaving stems as many will re-shoot from stem nodes. Baby Leaf and Micro Greens may well prove to be an easier and nutritious way to add wholesome vitamins and minerals to your diet.

FLOWER SEEDS WITH EDEN
Flower seeds: As fellow gardening enthusiasts we share the love for planting and nurturing our own flowers in addition to our veggie gardens. Our carefully selected range of flower seeds, available for convenient online purchase, holds a special place in our hearts. Like the endangered vegetables we've championed, these flower varieties face the risk of vanishing forever. Some of these older strains are incredibly rare, and it's a source of immense pride for us to offer and deliver these precious flower seeds Australia-wide.
