Anethum graveolens

Dill Microgreens and Baby Leaf Greens offer the distinctive fresh flavour and aroma of mature dill in a tender, easy-to-harvest form. Their delicate, feathery foliage adds both visual appeal and a bright herbaceous flavour to salads, seafood dishes, potatoes, dips and gourmet garnishes.

Harvested young, dill greens provide a milder flavour than mature plants while retaining their characteristic sweet, slightly tangy notes. Their elegant appearance makes them particularly popular in microgreen mixes and as a finishing garnish for a wide variety of dishes.

Fast growing and versatile, dill can be harvested as microgreens within a few weeks of sowing or grown on for larger baby leaf harvests. It is an excellent choice for growers seeking a fragrant and distinctive culinary herb for year-round production.

Approximately 700 seeds per gram

Planting / Sowing

For microgreens, sow seed densely over a moist growing medium and lightly cover with a fine layer of seed-raising mix or vermiculite. For baby leaf production, sow thinly into trays, containers or garden beds and harvest young foliage as required.

Keep evenly moist throughout germination and growth, and provide bright light and good airflow. Harvest microgreens when the first true leaves begin to emerge, typically 14–21 days after sowing, or continue growing for larger baby leaf harvests.

Due to quarantine restrictions, TAS has an 800g limit per each seed variety and WA has a 10,000 seeds limit per variety.
