Brassica rapa subsp. pekinensis

Granat is a Wong Bok type Chinese cabbage producing dense, elongated heads with crisp white stalks and fresh green leaves. The sweet, celery-like flavour makes it excellent for stir-fries, soups, salads, kimchi, and steaming. A productive variety that performs best in the cooler months, maturing in around 65 days.

Approximately 50 seeds per packet

When to Plant (Australia)
Tropics: April to July
Subtropics: March to September
Mild climates: Spring and autumn
Cold climates: Spring to early autumn

Planting / Sowing
Sow seed directly into well drained, fertile soil in full sun. Plant seeds 5 mm deep and thin seedlings to 30–40 cm apart. Keep soil consistently moist and avoid moisture stress to encourage firm, well-formed heads. Harvest when the heads are full and compact.

Certified Organic

Due to quarantine restrictions, TAS has an 800g limit per each seed variety and WA has a 10,000 seeds limit per variety.
