Snapdragon Tetra Mix Seeds
$3.90
Unit price perAntirrhinum majus maximum
Tetra Mix is a tall, vigorous Snapdragon producing impressive flower spikes in a broad range of bright and pastel colours. Growing to approximately 70 cm tall, the sturdy plants provide height and abundant colour through garden beds, cottage gardens and dedicated cutting gardens.
More heat tolerant than many traditional Snapdragon varieties, Tetra Mix is an excellent choice for extending the flowering season as temperatures begin to rise. The long, upright stems make excellent cut flowers, while blooms left in the garden are attractive to bees and other pollinating insects.
Hardy and generously flowering, plants perform best in full sun with fertile, well-drained soil. Regular picking or deadheading encourages continued flower production over a long season.
Seed count: approximately 3,600 seeds/g
Approximately 3,000 seeds per packet
When to Plant (Australia)
Tropics: Autumn to winter
Subtropics: Autumn to spring
Mild climates: Autumn to spring
Cold climates: Late winter to spring
Planting / Sowing
Sow the fine seed onto the surface of moist seed-raising mix and press gently into place. Cover only very lightly, as light assists germination. Keep consistently moist during germination.
Transplant once seedlings are well established, spacing approximately 20–30 cm apart in full sun and well-drained soil. Taller flower spikes may benefit from support in exposed positions. Regular picking or deadheading encourages further flowering.
Due to quarantine restrictions, TAS has an 800g limit per each seed variety and WA has a 10,000 seeds limit per variety.

FLOWER SEEDS WITH EDEN
Flower seeds: As fellow gardening enthusiasts we share the love for planting and nurturing our own flowers in addition to our veggie gardens. Our carefully selected range of flower seeds, available for convenient online purchase, holds a special place in our hearts. Like the endangered vegetables we've championed, these flower varieties face the risk of vanishing forever. Some of these older strains are incredibly rare, and it's a source of immense pride for us to offer and deliver these precious flower seeds Australia-wide.
