Matthiola incana

Dwarf Ten Week Mix is a compact, strongly fragrant Stock producing upright columns of brilliant flowers in shades of pink, red, yellow, cream, lilac, apricot and white. Growing to approximately 40 cm tall, the mixture includes both single and beautifully full double blooms.

A fast-flowering strain, Ten Week Stock can produce flowers in around half the time of many traditional full-sized varieties when grown in suitable conditions. The wonderfully scented blooms and sturdy stems make an excellent cut flower, while the compact plants are ideal for cottage gardens, borders, containers and mass plantings.

Stock thrives in cool conditions with full sun and fertile, well-drained, neutral to slightly alkaline soil. An ideal germination temperature is approximately 18–24°C.

Seed count: approximately 600 seeds/g
Approximately 80 seeds per packet

Planting / Sowing

Sow directly or raise in trays, covering seed lightly with soil or seed-raising mix. Keep consistently moist during germination but avoid waterlogging.

Transplant or thin seedlings to approximately 20–25 cm apart in a sunny position with well-drained soil. Regular picking or removal of spent flower spikes will help maintain a long and attractive display.

Due to quarantine restrictions, TAS has an 800g limit per each seed variety and WA has a 10,000 seeds limit per variety.
