Evening Sun is a spectacular branching sunflower producing an abundance of medium-sized blooms in rich shades of golden yellow with varying maroon blushes forming a striking ring around dark centres. Growing to around 2 metres tall, each plant produces multiple flowers over an extended period, making it an excellent choice for cut flower gardens, borders and attracting bees and other beneficial pollinators. The long-lasting blooms add warmth and colour to both the garden and floral arrangements.

Planting / Sowing
Direct sow seed 20–25 mm deep into fertile, well-drained soil in a sunny position after the danger of frost has passed. Space plants 40–50 cm apart to allow the branching habit to develop fully. Keep the soil moist during establishment, then water regularly during dry periods. Flowers begin appearing from around 80 days, with regular cutting encouraging continued production throughout the season.
Due to quarantine restrictions, TAS has an 800g limit per each seed variety and WA has a 10,000 seeds limit per variety.

FLOWER SEEDS WITH EDEN
Flower seeds: As fellow gardening enthusiasts we share the love for planting and nurturing our own flowers in addition to our veggie gardens. Our carefully selected range of flower seeds, available for convenient online purchase, holds a special place in our hearts. Like the endangered vegetables we've championed, these flower varieties face the risk of vanishing forever. Some of these older strains are incredibly rare, and it's a source of immense pride for us to offer and deliver these precious flower seeds Australia-wide.
