Ocimum basilicum minimum

A compact, edible and ornamental basil forming a dense, dome shaped bush of small, sweet flavoured leaves. Ideal for pots, edging, and small garden spaces, this variety responds well to frequent harvesting and maintains its neat shape. The miniature leaves are well suited to fresh use and light cooking. An annual basil that thrives in warm conditions and full sun, particularly through spring and summer.

Approximately 220 seeds per packet

When to Plant (Australia)
Tropics: March to August
Subtropics: September to March
Mild climates: October to March
Cold climates: November to February

Planting / Sowing
Sow seed shallowly into well drained soil in a warm, sunny position once frost risk has passed. Keep soil evenly moist during germination. Space plants 15 to 20 cm apart. Regular harvesting encourages dense, bushy growth and prolongs production. Suitable for pots and garden beds.

Due to quarantine restrictions, TAS has an 800g limit per each seed variety and WA has a 10,000 seeds limit per variety.
