Cocksfoot is a hardy, upright perennial pasture grass commonly grown as cat grass thanks to its soft, palatable young leaves. Fast growing and easy to maintain, it provides fresh, nutritious greens that many cats enjoy nibbling to aid digestion and help reduce hairballs. The dense clumps also make an excellent forage grass for poultry and small livestock. Regular trimming encourages a continuous flush of tender new growth and keeps plants lush and productive.

Planting / Sowing
Sow seed 5–10 mm deep into well-drained, fertile soil in full sun to partial shade. Keep the soil evenly moist during germination and establishment. For dense pots of cat grass, sow seed more closely together. For garden plantings, space clumps 20–30 cm apart. Trim older leaves regularly to encourage fresh, tender growth.
Due to quarantine restrictions, TAS has an 800g limit per each seed variety and WA has a 10,000 seeds limit per variety.

FLOWER SEEDS WITH EDEN
Flower seeds: As fellow gardening enthusiasts we share the love for planting and nurturing our own flowers in addition to our veggie gardens. Our carefully selected range of flower seeds, available for convenient online purchase, holds a special place in our hearts. Like the endangered vegetables we've championed, these flower varieties face the risk of vanishing forever. Some of these older strains are incredibly rare, and it's a source of immense pride for us to offer and deliver these precious flower seeds Australia-wide.
