Lollo Rosso is a classic looseleaf lettuce producing deeply curled leaves in vibrant magenta with a contrasting light green base. Its compact growth habit makes it an attractive addition to both vegetable gardens and ornamental plantings, while the crisp, tender leaves add colour and texture to fresh salads. An excellent cut-and-come-again variety, it can be harvested as baby leaves from around 30 days or left to reach full size in approximately 50 days.
Approximately 200 seeds per packet

Planting / Sowing
Sow seed directly or raise seedlings, covering very lightly with 2–3 mm of soil. Plant in fertile, well drained soil in full sun or part shade, spacing plants 20–30 cm apart. Keep the soil evenly moist and provide afternoon shade during warmer weather. Harvest outer leaves regularly for a continuous supply or allow plants to fully develop before cutting.

Due to quarantine restrictions, TAS has an 800g limit per each seed variety and WA has a 10,000 seeds limit per variety.

FLOWER SEEDS WITH EDEN
Flower seeds: As fellow gardening enthusiasts we share the love for planting and nurturing our own flowers in addition to our veggie gardens. Our carefully selected range of flower seeds, available for convenient online purchase, holds a special place in our hearts. Like the endangered vegetables we've championed, these flower varieties face the risk of vanishing forever. Some of these older strains are incredibly rare, and it's a source of immense pride for us to offer and deliver these precious flower seeds Australia-wide.
