Blonde Full Heart is a classic heirloom endive producing broad, elongated pale green leaves with a tightly formed creamy yellow heart. The crisp, tender leaves have a pleasantly mild flavour with less bitterness than many other endive varieties, making them ideal for fresh salads, braising, or adding texture to mixed greens. A reliable, productive variety that performs well through the cooler months.

Tropics: April to August
Subtropics: March to September
Mild climates: February to October
Cold climates: Spring to early autumn
Planting / Sowing
Sow seed directly or raise seedlings, planting 5 mm deep in fertile, well drained soil in full sun or part shade. Space plants 25–30 cm apart. Keep the soil evenly moist for the best leaf quality. Harvest outer leaves as required or cut the entire head once the heart has fully developed. Blanch by covering for best flavour.
Due to quarantine restrictions, TAS has an 800g limit per each seed variety and WA has a 10,000 seeds limit per variety.
