Purple Orach, also known as Mountain Spinach, is an ancient leafy vegetable grown for its striking deep burgundy-purple foliage. The tender young leaves have a mild, spinach-like flavour and are delicious fresh in salads, harvested as baby leaves or microgreens, or lightly cooked like spinach. Heat tolerant and slower to bolt than true spinach, Purple Orach provides a colourful and productive harvest throughout the warmer months while adding ornamental appeal to the vegetable garden.

FLOWER SEEDS WITH EDEN
Flower seeds: As fellow gardening enthusiasts we share the love for planting and nurturing our own flowers in addition to our veggie gardens. Our carefully selected range of flower seeds, available for convenient online purchase, holds a special place in our hearts. Like the endangered vegetables we've championed, these flower varieties face the risk of vanishing forever. Some of these older strains are incredibly rare, and it's a source of immense pride for us to offer and deliver these precious flower seeds Australia-wide.
