Rhodanthe chlorocephala, Brachyscome iberidifolia, Dipsacus sativus, Scabiosa stellata, Ammobium alatum, Xerochrysum bracteatum, Lunaria annua

Everlasting Mix is a beautiful selection of flowers chosen for their ability to retain their shape, colour and character after drying. Attractive in the garden and exceptionally useful for cutting, the flowers and seed heads can be preserved for dried bouquets, wreaths, arrangements and other floral projects long after the growing season has finished.

The mixture combines a variety of flower forms, textures and heights, creating an informal and colourful display while providing plenty of material for the vase. Harvest flowers at different stages to experiment with dried blooms, papery petals and decorative seed heads.

The mix usually includes Brachyscome, Strawflower, Honesty, Teasel, Starflower Scabiosa, Pink and White Everlastings and Winged Everlasting, subject to seasonal availability.

For the best dried flowers, harvest on a dry day before blooms are fully mature. Tie stems into small bunches and hang upside down in a dry, well-ventilated position away from direct sunlight until completely dried.

When to Plant (Australia)

Tropics: Autumn to winter
Subtropics: Autumn and spring
Mild climates: Autumn and spring
Cold climates: Spring to early summer after frost

Planting / Sowing

Sow into well-prepared, well-drained soil in a sunny position. Scatter seed thinly and lightly rake or press into the surface. As the mixture contains different species and seed sizes, avoid covering too deeply.

Keep consistently moist during germination. Individual varieties will germinate, grow and flower at different rates, creating an evolving display throughout the season.

Due to quarantine restrictions, TAS has an 800g limit per each seed variety. Not available for WA.
