Mesclun Mild Mix is a carefully selected blend of mild-flavoured baby salad greens in a range of colours, textures and leaf shapes. The word mesclun comes from the Provençal word mesclar, meaning "to mix thoroughly", reflecting the traditional mixed harvests sold by farmers around Nice in southern France.
The Eden mix usually includes lettuces such as Cos, Brown Romaine, Marvel of Four Seasons and Salad Bowl, along with Beet Greens, Spinach, Kale, Endive, Mustard, Rocket, Tatsoi, Mizuna, Red Radicchio and Amaranth, although the exact composition may vary. Harvest tender outer leaves from 25–40 days for continuous fresh salads. Grow year-round in a sheltered position and sow succession crops every few weeks for an ongoing supply. For extra colour and flavour, add edible flowers to your harvest.
Approximately 450 seeds per packet

Planting / Sowing
Sow seed directly into fertile, well drained soil, covering lightly with 2–3 mm of soil. Broadcast seed thickly for baby-leaf production or sow in rows for easier harvesting. Keep the soil evenly moist and provide afternoon shade during warmer weather. Harvest outer leaves regularly to encourage continuous regrowth and sow every 2–4 weeks for a steady supply.
Due to quarantine restrictions, TAS has an 800g limit per each seed variety and WA has a 10,000 seeds limit per variety.

FLOWER SEEDS WITH EDEN
Flower seeds: As fellow gardening enthusiasts we share the love for planting and nurturing our own flowers in addition to our veggie gardens. Our carefully selected range of flower seeds, available for convenient online purchase, holds a special place in our hearts. Like the endangered vegetables we've championed, these flower varieties face the risk of vanishing forever. Some of these older strains are incredibly rare, and it's a source of immense pride for us to offer and deliver these precious flower seeds Australia-wide.
