Tomato Tropic Seeds

Unit price perSolanum lycopersicum
Tropic is a robust tomato producing large, round red fruits to approximately 10 cm across. The firm, substantial fruits have a rich tomato flavour and are excellent for slicing, sandwiches and salads as well as cooking, sauces and preserving.
Developed for warm, humid growing conditions, Tropic is particularly useful in subtropical and tropical gardens where heat, humidity and disease pressure can make tomato growing challenging. It is a disease-hardy variety with vigorous growth and reliable production under demanding conditions.
Plants are indeterminate and continue growing and setting fruit throughout the season. The vigorous climbing vines benefit from sturdy staking or trellising to support the large fruits and keep foliage and fruit clear of the ground.
Seed count: approximately 250–400 seeds per gram. Approximately 40 seeds per packet.
