Shiraz is a productive beetroot variety producing smooth, round, deep red roots with excellent flavour and texture. The tender young leaves are ideal for harvesting early and adding to salad mixes, while the mature roots are perfect for roasting, pickling, or fresh use. A versatile dual-purpose variety maturing in around 60 days.

Planting / Sowing
Sow seed directly into well drained soil in full sun. Plant seeds 2 cm deep and thin seedlings to 10–15 cm apart once established. Keep soil consistently moist for best root development. Harvest young leaves as required, or allow roots to mature in around 60 days.

Due to quarantine restrictions, TAS has an 800g limit per each seed variety and WA has a 10,000 seeds limit per variety.
