Danvers is a classic heirloom carrot introduced in 1871, producing deep orange, slightly tapered roots up to 16 cm long. Renowned for its sweet flavour and tender texture, this versatile variety is excellent fresh, cooked, frozen, or preserved. Heat tolerant and adaptable to a wide range of soil types, Danvers is a reliable performer with excellent storage qualities, maturing in around 65–75 days.

Planting / Sowing
Sow seed directly into well prepared, loose soil in full sun. Plant seeds 5 mm deep in rows and thin seedlings to 3–5 cm apart once established. Keep the soil evenly moist during germination, which may take 10–21 days. Harvest from around 65–75 days when roots have reached full size.

Due to quarantine restrictions, TAS has an 800g limit per each seed variety and WA has a 10,000 seeds limit per variety.
