Grosse Lisse is one of Australia's classic home garden tomatoes, producing large, smooth, globe-shaped fruits that ripen to a rich deep red. The flesh is juicy and full flavoured, with the traditional tomato taste that has kept this variety popular with Australian gardeners for generations.
A dependable and adaptable variety, Grosse Lisse performs successfully across a wide range of Australian climates and produces abundantly over a long harvest period. The substantial fruits are excellent for slicing, sandwiches and salads, as well as sauces, cooking and preserving.
Plants are vigorous and indeterminate, continuing to flower and set fruit throughout the season. The long vines are best staked or trellised, particularly once they begin carrying a heavy crop.
Seed count: approximately 250–400 seeds per gram. Approximately 40 seeds per packet.

Space plants approximately 40–60 cm apart with 60–150 cm between rows. Grow in full sun in fertile, well-drained soil and provide sturdy staking or trellising for the climbing vines and large fruit. Water at soil level where possible and avoid waterlogged conditions.
Maturity: approximately 80–105 days.
Due to quarantine restrictions, TAS has an 800g limit per each seed variety and WA has a 10,000 seeds limit per variety.
