Phaseolus vulgaris

A classic climbing bean producing green, fleshy, stringless pods that remain tender even when mature. Heavy bearing with rounded pods 14–17 cm in length. Performs well in warm areas and is also well suited to freezing. Grown in the United States since 1885 and valued for its reliability and eating quality.

Approximately 15 seeds per packet

When to Plant (Australia)
Tropics: September to March
Subtropics: October to February
Mild climates: Late spring to summer
Cold climates: After frost has passed

Planting / Sowing
Sow seed directly into warm, well drained soil in full sun. In cooler climates, plant in late spring once frost risk has passed. Space seeds 10 to 15 cm apart and provide sturdy support for climbing plants. Harvest from around 65 to 75 days.

Certified Organic

Due to quarantine restrictions, TAS has an 800g limit per each seed variety and WA has a 10,000 seeds limit per variety.
