An extremely rare and striking climbing bean, with seeds that appear hand painted in tones of rich red and bright white. Delicious eaten young straight off the vine, or left to mature and used dried. Also known as a “pea bean” for their rounded shape. Notably cold tolerant, which gives this variety its name.

Planting / Sowing
Sow seed directly into warm, well drained soil in full sun once soil temperatures are suitable. Provide sturdy support for climbing plants. Space seeds 10 to 15 cm apart and keep soil evenly moist during establishment. Harvest pods young for fresh eating or allow beans to fully mature for drying.

Due to quarantine restrictions, TAS has an 800g limit per each seed variety and WA has a 10,000 seeds limit per variety.
