Cosmos Double Click Snow Puff Seeds
$3.90
Unit price perCosmos bipinnatus
Double Click Snow Puff is a tall, airy cosmos producing fully double, softly ruffled white flowers, often with the faintest blush of pink. The full, fluffy blooms appear to float above delicate, fern-like foliage and bring a light, romantic quality to garden plantings.
Growing approximately 90–120 cm tall, it is excellent towards the back of borders, through cottage gardens or grown specifically for cutting. The long stems and abundant double flowers are particularly useful in bouquets, while blooms are also attractive to bees and other beneficial insects.
Cosmos is a hardy, heat-tolerant annual that grows readily in a wide range of well-drained soils. Avoid overly rich soil or excessive fertiliser, which can encourage lush foliage at the expense of flowers. Regular picking or deadheading encourages continued flowering through summer and into autumn.
Seed count: approximately 140 seeds per gram. Approximately 30 seeds per packet.
When to Plant (Australia)
Tropics: March–October
Subtropics: August–April
Mild climates: September–March
Cold climates: October–January, after frost risk has passed
Planting / Sowing
Sow approximately 5 mm deep directly where plants are to grow once the soil has warmed, or raise in punnets for later transplanting. In frost-prone climates, sow after the last frost or start seed under protection beforehand.
Space plants approximately 30–40 cm apart in full sun and well-drained soil. Water regularly while establishing, then moderately once plants are growing strongly. Taller plants may benefit from support in exposed or windy positions. Deadhead or cut flowers regularly to encourage further blooms.
Due to quarantine restrictions, TAS has an 800g limit per each seed variety and WA has a 10,000 seeds limit per variety.

FLOWER SEEDS WITH EDEN
Flower seeds: As fellow gardening enthusiasts we share the love for planting and nurturing our own flowers in addition to our veggie gardens. Our carefully selected range of flower seeds, available for convenient online purchase, holds a special place in our hearts. Like the endangered vegetables we've championed, these flower varieties face the risk of vanishing forever. Some of these older strains are incredibly rare, and it's a source of immense pride for us to offer and deliver these precious flower seeds Australia-wide.
