Delphinium cultorum

Pacific Giants Mixed is a magnificent tall Delphinium producing large, densely packed flower spikes in a beautiful mixture of blues, purples, pinks and whites. Growing up to approximately 1.8 m tall, the dramatic candle-like stems create impressive height and structure at the back of borders and cottage gardens.

The long flower spikes make an excellent cut flower, bringing bold colour and height to fresh arrangements. Plants are particularly striking when grown in groups, where their towering stems create a spectacular display.

A perennial best suited to cooler growing conditions, Pacific Giants prefers full sun, fertile soil and good drainage. The tall flowering stems benefit from staking or support, particularly in exposed or windy positions.

Seed count: approximately 350 seeds/g
Approximately 80 seeds per packet

When to Plant (Australia)

Tropics: Generally better suited to cooler regions
Subtropics: Autumn to winter
Mild climates: Autumn and spring
Cold climates: Spring or early autumn

Planting / Sowing

Sow into trays or pots, covering seed lightly with seed-raising mix. Keep cool and consistently moist during germination.

Transplant once seedlings are well established, spacing approximately 40–50 cm apart in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil. Provide support as the tall flower spikes develop and remove spent stems after flowering.

Due to quarantine restrictions, TAS has an 800g limit per each seed variety and WA has a 10,000 seeds limit per variety.
