Fenugreek is a fast-growing annual herb reaching around 60 cm tall, valued for both its culinary and traditional herbal uses. The young leaves and sprouts have a sweet, slightly bitter flavour and can be added sparingly to salads, while the aromatic seeds are widely used in curries, spice blends, breads, and herbal teas. Traditionally, fenugreek has been used to support respiratory health and digestion. Rich in minerals including phosphorus, it is also an excellent green manure and nitrogen-fixing legume. Harvest young greens in as little as 3–4 weeks.
