Balcony Mix is a colourful blend of flowering annuals and perennials selected to create an abundant display in smaller spaces. Combining different flower shapes, colours, heights and flowering times, it is ideal for bringing a lively cottage-style feel to balconies, courtyards and patios.

Perfect for pots, planters and window boxes, this versatile mixture can also be used along garden borders, pathways and landscaped areas. The diversity of flowers provides changing colour and interest throughout the season while also attracting bees, butterflies and other beneficial insects.

The mix may include Alyssum, English Daisy, California Poppy, Cosmos, Johnny Jump Up, Linaria, Lobelia, Dwarf Marigold, Nemesia, Pansy, Petunia, Phlox, Salvia, Sweet William, Zinnia, Godetia and Vinca, subject to seasonal availability.

When to Plant (Australia)

Tropics: Autumn to winter
Subtropics: Autumn and early spring
Mild climates: Autumn and spring
Cold climates: Spring to early summer after frost

Planting / Sowing

Sow directly into pots, window boxes, planters, borders or prepared garden beds. Scatter seed thinly over a fine, moist growing medium and lightly press or rake into the surface. As the mixture contains seeds of varying sizes, avoid covering too deeply.

Keep consistently moist during germination and position in full sun to partial shade. Individual species will germinate, grow and flower at different rates, creating an evolving display over an extended period.

Due to quarantine restrictions, TAS has an 800g limit per each seed variety and WA has a 10,000 seeds limit per variety.
