Petroselinum crispum

Triple Curl Parsley is the classic parsley variety found in gardens and kitchens around the world. First introduced in the mid-1800s, it remains one of the most popular cultivars thanks to its densely curled, bright green foliage, attractive appearance and reliable performance. Plants form neat clumps of finely curled leaves that can be harvested continuously over many months.

A versatile culinary herb, Triple Curl Parsley is widely used fresh in salads, soups, sauces, dressings and as a garnish. While often considered a decorative herb, parsley is also highly nutritious, containing vitamins A, C and K along with minerals such as iron and calcium. Its fresh, clean flavour complements a wide range of savoury dishes and makes it a staple ingredient in many cuisines.

Parsley is a biennial typically grown as an annual, thriving in garden beds, raised beds, containers and kitchen gardens. It performs best in fertile, moisture-retentive soil and benefits from regular harvesting, which encourages fresh new growth.

Maturing in approximately 70–85 days, Triple Curl Parsley provides a long and productive harvest season.

Planting / Sowing

Sow seed 5 mm deep into moist, well-prepared soil or seed-raising mix. Parsley can be slow and irregular to germinate, often taking 14–28 days. Keep soil consistently moist during this period. Transplant or thin seedlings to 20–30 cm apart in a sunny or partly shaded position. Harvest outer leaves regularly to encourage continued production.

Due to quarantine restrictions, TAS has an 800g limit per each seed variety and WA has a 10,000 seeds limit per variety.
