Poppy Paeony Double Mix Seeds
$3.90
Unit price perPapaver paeoniflorum
Paeony Double Mix is a spectacular annual Poppy producing large, fully double blooms with densely packed, ruffled petals resembling old-fashioned paeonies. Flowers appear in a rich mixture of pink, rose, red, white and deep plum, creating a dramatic display through spring and early summer.
The tall stems and extravagant flowers make a striking addition to cottage gardens, borders and mass plantings. Once flowering finishes, attractive ornamental seed pods develop and can be left in the garden or harvested for dried arrangements. Plants readily self-seed in favourable conditions, often returning naturally in following seasons.
Easy to grow, Paeony Poppies prefer full sun, cooler growing conditions and well-drained soil. They establish best when sown directly where they are to flower, as Poppies dislike root disturbance.
Seed count: approximately 4,500 seeds/g
Approximately 1,800 seeds per packet

Planting / Sowing
Sow directly where plants are to grow. Scatter the fine seed thinly over prepared soil, press gently into the surface and cover only very lightly. Keep moist during germination.
Thin seedlings to approximately 20–30 cm apart to allow plants room to develop. Grow in full sun and well-drained soil. Allow selected seed pods to mature if you would like plants to self-seed.
Not available for TAS. Due to quarantine restrictions, WA has a 10,000 seeds limit per variety.

FLOWER SEEDS WITH EDEN
Flower seeds: As fellow gardening enthusiasts we share the love for planting and nurturing our own flowers in addition to our veggie gardens. Our carefully selected range of flower seeds, available for convenient online purchase, holds a special place in our hearts. Like the endangered vegetables we've championed, these flower varieties face the risk of vanishing forever. Some of these older strains are incredibly rare, and it's a source of immense pride for us to offer and deliver these precious flower seeds Australia-wide.
