Witerbi is a productive silverbeet variety with dark green, medium savoyed leaves and broad white stems. Bred for versatility, it performs equally well as a baby leaf crop or grown to full size for bunching. The tender young leaves are ideal for fresh salads, while mature leaves and stems are excellent steamed, sautéed, added to soups, stir-fries and pasta dishes. Its vigorous cut-and-come-again habit provides reliable harvests over an extended season.

Planting / Sowing
Sow seed 15–20 mm deep in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Keep the soil consistently moist during germination. Thin seedlings to 25–30 cm apart for mature plants, or sow more closely when growing for baby leaf production. Begin harvesting baby leaves as required, or pick the outer mature leaves regularly while leaving the growing centre intact to encourage continuous growth.

Due to quarantine restrictions, TAS has an 800g limit per each seed variety and WA has a 10,000 seeds limit per variety.

Flower seeds: As fellow gardening enthusiasts we share the love for planting and nurturing our own flowers in addition to our veggie gardens. Our carefully selected range of flower seeds, available for convenient online purchase, holds a special place in our hearts. Like the endangered vegetables we've championed, these flower varieties face the risk of vanishing forever. Some of these older strains are incredibly rare, and it's a source of immense pride for us to offer and deliver these precious flower seeds Australia-wide.
